Laust er til umsóknar starf karlkyns stuðningsfulltrúa í dægradvöl á Ísafirði. Æskilegast er að viðkomandi geti hafið störf sem fyrst en starfið er tímabundið til 4. júní 2027 með möguleika á framhaldsráðningu næsta skólaár. Vinnutíminn er frá 13:00 til 16:00 (42% starfshlutfall) alla virka daga. Næsti yfirmaður er forstöðumaður dægradvalar. Leitað er eftir kröftugum og líflegum einstaklingi í starfið.

- Þátttaka í uppeldisstarfi þar sem megináhersla er lögð á velferð og vellíðan barns/barna
- Sértækur stuðningur við nemanda/nemendur með sérþarfir
- Þátttaka í dagskipulagi dægradvalar og frístundar
- Samstarf við foreldra og fagfólk í samræmi við áætlun hvers einstaklings

Applications for the position of a male support representative in an after-school care program in Ísafjörður. Ideally, the candidate will be able to start as soon as possible. The job is temporary, running until June 4th, 2027, with the possibility of continued employment for the following school year. Working hours are from 13:00 to 16:00 (42%) on all weekdays. The employee reports to the manager of the after-school care program. We are looking for an energetic and lively individual to fill this role.
Main responsibilities:
- Participation in educational and developmental activities, with a primary focus on the welfare and well-being of the child/children
- Targeted support for student(s) with special needs
- Participation in the daily schedule of after-school care and leisure programs
- Collaboration with parents and professionals in accordance with each individual’s specific plan
Education and qualification requirements:
- Training for a support representitive (or equivalent education) is desirable
- A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Initiative and flexibility
- Previous experience in the field of leisure/after-school care is an advantage
- Good physical condition and fitness
- Icelandic language skills desirable
- Reliability and a disciplined approach
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the collective agreements between Samband íslenskra sveitarfélaga and the unions Kjölur/VerkVest.
