WA 006: Sea kayak trip in Jökulfirðir.
Four days.

Arrive at Isafjordur on the afternoon flight and take the boat to Hesteyri. The Next day we start paddling and head for Veiðileysufjörður where we will camp overnight . On day three we kayak to Lónafjörður were we will camp. The next afternoon webe picked up by a boat in Lónafjörður and taken back Isafjörður. That evening you get the flight back to Reykjavík. The Jökufirðir area is very secure and convenient for sea kayaking since the mountains provide good shelter and the currents are weak. The abundance of good drinking water and excellent campsites will make setting up your tent seems like a night in an Icelandic paradise.
