Day four:
We take a boat in the morning and head for the wild nature reserve of Hornstrandir. On our way we pass many big birdcliffs that are home for thousands of birds like puffins, razorbills, black guillemots and seagulls. Hornstrandir Nature Reserve is an oasis on the edge of the Arctic circle where flora and fauna have had their own way since it was abandoned in the late 60´s. It´s A paradise for nature lovers and walkers. We drop anchor in Hornvík Bay which is without doubt one of the most beautiful places in the nature reserve. The ride takes about three hours in a modern, well equipped speed boat. We arrive in Isafjörður in the afternoon and and take the flight back to Reykjavík in the evening.
